Our cancellation policy exists to safeguard everyone on the Catalani Locations platform during unexpected events. We understand that sometimes productions need to cancel β our goal is to ensure it is safe and fair for everybody involved.

- The Catalani Locations platform fee included in your initial payment is always non-refundable.
- Cancellation fees only apply if the booking request has been accepted by the location/property owner (host).
- Reasons for cancelling, as well as any disputes from either party, must be given within 24 hours of the situation’s occurrence. Catalani Locations has the final say in all disputes.
- Bookings are not officially cancelled until you receive a cancellation email or notice of cancellation from Catalani Locations.

Extenuating Circumstances
Catalani Locations may choose to pardon a cancellation due to extenuating circumstances, which would result in a partial or full refund of the booking. Below are the circumstances in which Catalani Locations may choose to grant a pardon:
Catalani Locations β Initiated Cancellations
Catalani Locations can decide, at any point in the process, that it is necessary or appropriate to cancel an accepted booking. During an initiated cancellation, refunds and payouts will be at the discretion of Catalani Locations and may vary depending on the circumstances. Below are circumstances in which Catalani Locations may initiate a cancellation:
- If Catalani Locations discovers that the production has pornographic or inappropriate content.
- If a producer or location owner breaks Catalani Locations’ Terms of Service or Community Code of Conduct.
- Inability to provide production insurance or payment within the deadline set by Catalani Locations.
- If Catalani Locations suspects illegal activity of any kind.
- If the production company or brand is unverified or fraudulent.
- If the location becomes unavailable after the booking request has been accepted.
- Any other circumstances deemed appropriate by Catalani Locations.
Rain Date Policy
A rain date is a backup production day that both the producer and location owner agree upon in advance, held tentatively in case weather conditions prevent the original shoot from taking place. Rain dates are arranged directly between both parties before the scheduled production date.
Catalani Locations must be notified of any agreed-upon rain dates at least 24 hours prior to the original shoot date. Failure to notify us in time may affect your ability to use the rain date without penalty.
Rescheduling Policy
Producers may reschedule a confirmed booking, provided all of the following conditions are met. If any of these conditions are not satisfied, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the applicable cancellation policy will apply.
Each time a booking is rescheduled, a rescheduling fee applies. This fee increases by $100 with every subsequent reschedule and is collected as a separate payment added directly to the location owner’s payout. There is no cap on the number of reschedules, and fees accumulate accordingly.
Fees continue to increase by $100 increments with no maximum limit. Each fee is collected separately and paid out to the location owner.
