The total cost of a booking on Catalani Locations depends on the listing’s hourly rate, any add-ons selected, and our Platform Fee. The full price is always displayed before you confirm. By using the Platform, all users agree to this Fees Overview. Once a booking is accepted, our Cancellation Policy applies.
Host Platform Fee
9%
Deducted automatically from your payout after each completed booking. You always see the net amount before confirming.
Applies to hourly rate + cleaning fee + add-ons. Security deposits are excluded.
Renter Platform Fee
9%
Added to the total at checkout. Displayed clearly in the price breakdown before you confirm your request.

* Security deposit is collected and held separately. It is returned to the Renter after the booking if no damage is reported. If a damage claim is filed, it is applied against the claim first.
Section 1
Costs Set by the Host
Hosts set their own pricing for their listing. These costs are determined entirely by the Host and are displayed on the listing page before you submit a booking request.
Hourly Rate
The core booking price per hour, set by the Host. The Platform Fee applies to the hourly subtotal.
Cleaning Fee
A one-time flat fee charged by some Hosts to cover cleaning after the booking. The cleaning fee is included in the commissionable total — the 9% Platform Fee applies to both Host and Renter on this amount.
Add-Ons
Optional extras offered by some Hosts — such as equipment rental, furniture setup, staffing assistance, or specialty services. Add-ons are listed separately on the listing page and are included in the commissionable total — the 9% Platform Fee applies to add-ons.
Security Deposit NO PLATFORM FEE
Some Hosts require a refundable security deposit to protect against damage. The security deposit is collected at checkout and held separately — it is not included in the commissionable total and the 9% Platform Fee does not apply to it. The deposit is returned to the Renter after the booking if no damage claim is filed. If a claim is submitted, the deposit is applied against the documented damage first.
Taxes
Hosts are responsible for determining and including any applicable sales, occupancy, or other taxes in their pricing where required by local law. Catalani Locations may collect and remit certain taxes on behalf of Hosts in jurisdictions where required.
Host rule: The rate listed on your Catalani Locations profile must be equal to or better than any rate you offer on another platform or your own website.
Section 2
Platform Fee
Catalani Locations charges a 9% Platform Fee to both the Host and the Renter on each confirmed booking. This fee covers the operation and maintenance of the Platform, payment processing, secure messaging, client support, and marketing your listing to our Latin American and US production clientele.
Renter Fee — 9%
Added to the commissionable total (hourly rate + cleaning fee + add-ons) at checkout. Displayed in the full price breakdown before you confirm. Paid at the time of booking request. Does not apply to security deposits.
Host Fee — 9%
Deducted from the Host’s payout after a booking is completed. Hosts see their estimated net payout on the listing management dashboard before confirming bookings.
Non-Refundable: Platform Fees are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation, regardless of the cancellation policy applied, except where explicitly required by applicable law. See our Cancellation Policy for full details.
Section 3
Additional & Conditional Fees
Certain situations may result in additional charges beyond the original booking price. These are applied based on what actually occurs during or after a booking.
Overtime Charges
If your booking runs beyond its scheduled end time, overtime charges apply at the Host’s listed hourly rate (or a rate agreed upon with the Host in advance). Always book enough time including set-up and breakdown.
Over-Capacity Fees
If the number of people on property exceeds the capacity stated at time of booking, the Host may apply additional charges. Always disclose your full headcount (cast, crew, and guests) when booking.
Damage Charges
Renters are liable for any damage caused to a listing during their booking. Documented damage may be charged to the Renter’s payment method on file. Catalani Locations may withhold the Host’s payout during an active damage investigation. See our Property Damage Guarantee for details.
Off-Platform Circumvention Fee
Completing a booking off-platform after making initial contact through Catalani Locations is a Terms of Service violation. A fee equal to the Platform Fee that would have applied may be charged. See our Community Guidelines.
Section 4
Payments & Payouts
All payments on the Platform are processed securely through Stripe. Catalani Locations acts as a limited payment collection agent — collecting funds from Renters on behalf of Hosts and remitting payouts after bookings are completed.

Booking Request
Renter submits request. Payment is authorized but not yet captured.

Host Confirms
Host accepts. Full Renter payment is captured at this point.

Booking Completes
Production or event concludes. Payout is initiated to Host.
4
Host Paid
Funds arrive in Host’s bank account within 3–7 business days.
Payout delays: Payouts may be held beyond the standard window if a damage claim or dispute is active, if identity verification is incomplete, or if required tax documentation has not been submitted. Contact support@catalanilocations.com for payout questions.

By using CatalaniLocations.com, you agree to all terms outlined in this Fees Overview, the Terms of Service, and all related policies. Fees are subject to change with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Platform after any fee change constitutes your acceptance.
