Cookie Notice

What cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them on your device.

Last Updated: June 2026
Catalani Locations uses cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (collectively “Cookies”) when you use our website and platform at catalanilocations.com. This Cookie Notice explains what Cookies are, why we use them, how long they stay on your device, and how you can manage or disable them.

This Notice supplements our Privacy Notice and forms part of our Terms of Service. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to our use of Cookies as described here. If you have questions, contact us at support@catalanilocations.com.

Type 1
Essential Cookies
⛔ Cannot be disabled

These cookies are required for the Platform to function. Without them, core services like logging in, managing your booking session, and processing payments cannot be provided. We do not need your consent to use these cookies because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you have requested.

Examples: login session cookie, authentication token, booking session state, CSRF security token, cookie consent preference
⚙️
Type 2
Functionality Cookies
✓ Optional

These cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make — such as your language, display preferences, and whether you’ve dismissed a notification. They give you a more personalized experience. You can disable these, but some features may not work as expected.

Examples: language preference, display settings, “Remember Me” login, dismissed banners, saved search filters
📊
Type 3
Analytics Cookies
✓ Optional

These cookies collect anonymized information about how visitors use the Platform — which pages are visited most often, how users navigate, where they come from, and what errors occur. This data helps us improve the Platform for everyone. No personal identity is linked to this data.

Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gat), page view tracking, session duration, traffic source
🎯
Type 4
Targeting Cookies
✓ Optional

These cookies record your visit to our Platform, the pages you’ve viewed, and the links you’ve clicked. They may be used by us or third-party advertising networks to show you more relevant content and ads on other websites. They also help limit how often you see a particular ad and measure ad campaign effectiveness.

Examples: Google Ads, Meta Pixel, remarketing tags, interest-based ad identifiers

Section 1
What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are automatically downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or online service. They are stored in your browser and allow the website to recognize your device on future visits.

Cookies send information back to the originating website each time you return, or they may share data with other websites that recognize them. This allows websites to remember your preferences, keep you logged in across pages, understand how you use the site, and show you relevant content.

In addition to cookies, we may also use web beacons (also called pixel tags or clear GIFs) — tiny invisible images embedded in web pages or emails that help us understand how you interact with our content. We may also use local storage technologies similar to cookies that store data in your browser.

Cookies do not: read your hard drive, collect your passwords, or access any personal information beyond what you have provided to the site that set them. You can delete cookies from your browser at any time.
⏱️
Section 2
How Long Do Cookies Stay on Your Device?

Cookies fall into two duration categories:

  • Session cookies — exist only for the duration of your current browser session. They expire and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. We use session cookies for things like keeping you logged in while you navigate between pages during a single visit.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device between browsing sessions, even after you close your browser. They expire after a set period of time (which varies by cookie) or until you delete them manually. We use persistent cookies for things like remembering your login across sessions, saving your preferences, and analytics.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Platform are set by third-party services we use to operate and improve the Platform. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern how they use the data collected through their cookies. We encourage you to review their policies directly.

How to Manage & Control Cookies

You have several options for controlling which cookies are set on your device. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform — some features may not work as intended if essential or functionality cookies are blocked.

Through Your Browser

Most web browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings menus. Instructions vary by browser:

BrowserCookie Settings Location
Google Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data — Chrome help
Mozilla Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data — Firefox help
Apple Safari Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data — Safari help
Microsoft Edge Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies — Edge help
Opera Settings → Advanced → Privacy & Security → Site Settings → Cookies
iOS Safari Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security
Android Chrome Chrome menu → Settings → Site Settings → Cookies
Important: Cookie settings must be configured separately on each browser and each device you use. There is currently no way to synchronize cookie preferences across browsers or devices automatically.
Opting Out of Analytics

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also adjust your Google Ads settings at adssettings.google.com.

Opting Out of Targeted Advertising

To opt out of targeted advertising from companies that participate in industry opt-out programs, visit:

Please note that opting out of targeted advertising does not mean you will see no ads — it means the ads you see will be less tailored to your interests.

Section 5
Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. There is currently no uniform industry standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, and our Platform does not change its behavior based on a DNT signal from your browser.

We will continue to monitor developments around DNT standards and may update this policy if a standard becomes widely adopted. For more information about Do Not Track, visit allaboutdnt.com.

Your best option today: If you want to limit tracking, use your browser’s cookie controls (Section 4 above) or the opt-out tools listed under analytics and targeted advertising. These give you more granular control than DNT signals.

Section 6
Changes to This Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time as we add new features, use new technologies, or as laws and best practices evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email.

Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Cookie Notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
